I need to take more pics of them out of box and some comparison pics with my other dolls but i am only 1 week away from my baby due date and have been feeling alot of practice contractions lately. I'm just so tired. This baby can come any time so i don't feel much like doing anything other then just sitting. Also it's so freakin hot today. It's like 90 degree. I feel so icky :/ I hate humid weather.

Anyway, once i feel up to it, i will be taking more pics of my dollies.

Miniature overload!!

I just went on a shopping spree and brought 10 complete miniature sets by Re-ment off Yahoo!Japan Auctions. It's 10 sets from 2 different sellers so i can combine ship and fees :)

I know i can buy these off e-bay but have you seen how much those sellers are charging to ship. Some of the shipping cost more then the sets itself and when they combine, they only take off like 2 bucks. Way too much. So i like to buy from Y!JA.

I so need to keep up with my Re-ment collection. It's been awhile since i purchased any and so i still need so many sets. I plan on having 1 of each so i have lots to catch up.

One day i would like to have enough display cases to display them out of box. I don't dare just setting them up on an open shelf. I can't imagine having to dust all those teeny tiny pieces :)

Charles Creature Company = FRUAD!

Today i want to write about a BJD company called Charles Creature Company. It is owned and runned by Charles Stephan in the Netherlands.

DO NOT EVER EVER EVER IN YOUR LIFE BUY FROM HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charles used to be a good man but not anymore. He now owes tens of thousands of dollars to customers who has been waiting for dolls they purchased as far back as Aug 2009. I myself purchased a doll from him back on Sept 12,09. I have yet to receive my doll. And due to the long wait, i can no longer file a chargeback on my paypal so i am out of a doll and money. What i don't understand is why he can't just ship out my doll who has been completed since early Jan 2010. I know this because i paid extra to have a custom faceup done by Sweetly Twisted (a dolly artist) I have received an e-mail with picture of my completed doll by the faceup artist and i fell in love with my doll :( But at that time i had no idea anything bad would happen. Charles picked up the batch of special dolls to be shipped. They has never been shipped. And Charles has never answered any of the buyers as to why.

After much much much pleading and finally an e-mail threatening to file charges, Charles finally e-mailed me back saying he has shipped my doll and even provided a tracking number. Sadly it's been over a month and the tracking number never worked. The doll never arrived. It is now my belief that he was sending out false tracking numbers to get buyers off his back.

Charles is a very CRUEL man.

Only recently has he closed down his site from taking orders. But he was actually still taking orders when this whole situation started. So in a way he was scamming people out of money since he knows he does not have the extra dolls to send out for all those new orders. He was taking money knowing he would not complete the sale.

Alot of loyal customers who adores Charles's dolls has lost respect for him, me included. We have now started to file fraud charges against him in whatever way we can and hopefully something happens. It's hard to do anything since he's in the Netherlands. Still, it's too much money involved. Some buyers has had over $1000+ put into these orders and never seeing their purchases.

It is a very depressing and sad situation for everyone involved. I hope that the word gets out and no one would ever buy from Charles again and go through what we have.

In the beginning when Charles did answer e-mails, there was just alot of excuses and promises that was never fulfilled. He had lots of SOB stories including how he was the only one working on his dolls and as 1 man, he can't do things fast enough. The problem is that he had friends willing to go help him ship out dolls and help him complete his orders. He hid himself away and avoided them.

Charles became a whinny baby. Excuses after excuses. Fake tracking numbers and promises to ship.

Now he's finally stopped answering e-mails altogether. No one really expect to receive their dolls at this point. Hope is starting to be lost. I don't expect my doll either :(

Today my first ever Iplehouse order arrived. I didn't even get an e-mail saying my doll's been shipped. So it was somewhat unexpected :)

His name is Vito and he was an Iplehouse J.I.D Special Edition boy. Vito was only sold online from 2/12/10 - 3/12/10

I have had my eyes on a basic Vito for some time but never ordered. This is because i'm trying to stay away from BJD that are larger then 26cm. Vito is 46cm. I do have only 1 doll that is around Vito's size and that's my Pipos Limited Alice (head) on Luts Kid Delf body. But i really didn't expect to get anymore in this size.

I just happened to be checking Iplehouse's site when these special dolls were being sold. And ofcorse Vito instantly caught my eye. Then i found out that Iplehouse do accept layaway payment option so that pretty much pushed me over the edge in deciding to order him :)

And so here he is. Absolutely gorgeous in every way. I am also very happy with Iplehouse's service and would definitely order through them again. But maybe just clothing and wigs. I really don't think i need another large BJD. I'll stick to the tiny ones that are easier to display and store :)

Yeah! Everything is paid off....

I managed to pay off my layaway with Pipos and it's listed as 'before shipping'. I am also waiting my Iplehouse order which i paid off awhile back. They said it would ship sometime mid May. I hope soon. And lastly i just paid off my balance with Celga and have asked them to get my items ready to ship. Yeah! can't wait to get my Pipos Pirate Baha.
For once i have no more layaways to deal with, atleast at the moment. Not that i don't want to go and order more dolls but with my baby coming in probably less then a month, i better not :)
Still, i wish i have some extra funds to get myself a new Lati pirate doll. But i don't think i can come up with any within the ordering time frame. I can still hope :)

Being nice & helpful can simetimes suck!

Very recently someone e-mailed my about an Anime doll that she was desperately looking for. She really wanted this doll but the only auction on e-bay was $300 and she didn't want to pay that much. Keep in mind the doll she wanted was long out of production and pretty hard to find. I used to have one but sold her when i was letting go of alot of my Anime dolls.

I asked her how much she was looking to pay for one and she said $100. I told her that the original retail was already $100 so it would be impossible to get her now for that price. She then said she was willing to pay $200. Stupidly i decided to help. She seem genuine. She really wanted the doll and has been looking for it for a long time. She told me she would pay once i find her one. Since i collect Anime dolls i know how to find rare dolls. So i did and i found one. I was asking $200 which would include shipping. I e-mailed her and told her that she can make payment within 2 weeks time and i will have it for her.

Then, the shocker.... She just lost her job and apparently forgot to let me know. Big duh!! But she still wants the doll and promise to make payment. But she'd like to do a layaway, a very very long layaway. $10 a week for 20 weeks. Which means the doll will ship in Sept. I had no choice but to agree. She then asked if i can ship her the doll first and she promise me she'll pay. Like HELL NO. No one ships before getting paid. She said that she got cheated off an item before. Well i told her to look at my ebay feedback. I've been on e-bay since 2002 and have over 2170 feedbacks. I also have tons of feedbacks outside e-bay on various doll selling forums. All positives i might add. I am a good seller. I don't know about her.

Well, i am now waiting for her next e-mail to see what she has to say. I swear i will never help anyone find and buy dolls again unless payments are made in advance. Some buyers are just not very reliable.

Which also brings me to another bad buyer i encountered this time through e-bay. This dude wanted to buy a set of dolls i listed. But he can't make payment for another week or so and wanted to buy and pay when he can. He told me to check his feedback and that it was good. I said ok. I usually list my buy it now auctions with buyers having to do instant payment.
So he purchased my item and i waited for payment. Then the time came when payment was promised and guess what, he can no longer afford it because he needs to have surgery the next day. Wow, unexpected surgery. Oh and get this, he's a veteran and lives on money given to him by the government and they don't pay him enough. He needs to shell out his own money for the surgery so he has none left. Wow. That's a new excuse.
He promised me that he'll pay in a month. I told him i can't wait because i need funds for other things. And also how can i trust that he would pay. By that time, i will no longer be able to file a non paying bidder claim with e-bay and i would be out of all those fees associated with selling the doll. He then have the nerve to say that if i need money, i should get a job. I'm a stay at home mom to 2 little boys and am 6 month pregnant (at the time of the transaction, i am nearly 8 months now). This is my full time job. What an ASS! He should be the one getting the job instead of relaying on government funds to pay for e-bay auctions.

Anyway, he's no longer an active user on e-bay. Good riddance.

Today i received my FairyLand LittleFee 'Sugar Plum Fairy' Leah & 'Nutcracker' Piki. I ordered them back on Feb 12th with layaway option. My layaway was supposed to end on May 13th but i opted to pay it off early once DDE told me they were in :) I also added the LittleFee pink Macaron wig & outfit set to my order. I could have missed out on this if i didn't e-mail DDE a week ago asking them that i wanted to buy and to have them alert me when they get it in. By the time they e-mailed me, it was already listed as sold out on their site. But they were so nice to save me a set :) Now i'm looking forward to picking up a LittleFee Ante for it.

I will be taking more pics of the dolls out of box & dressed when i have time. Right now i have to get ready to go out soon. We are finally going to get my son registered for school. Kris will be 5 in May so it's about time :)

BJDs & Layaways....

Ball jointed dolls are just so expensive compared to collecting 1/6 size fashion dolls. I am thankful for all the companies that offer layaway options since it's the only way i can possibly afford anything.

2 of my most favorites places to order from is Pipos & Denver Doll.

I was received an e-mail from Denver Doll the other day that my FairyLand LittleFee Leah & Piki is in and that i can have the option to pay off my layaway early to have them shipped. My last payment was supposed to be May 13th. But it's hard not to try to pay off and get them now :) So i just paid it off and they have been shipped. I so can't wait to see them in person. I even added the Ante Macaron pink outfit & wig set to my order. I'm happy that DDE saved me a set after i inquired about it a week ago asking when they expect to get them in. They are already listed as sold out on their site.

I have a large order with Pipos as well but i still have 1 more layaway for next month to pay. I hope to make the funds early to pay them off too. I really want to clear up and settle all dolls orders i have on order before June when my baby comes.

Another place i'm waiting for a doll is Iplehouse. It's my first time ordering and i have already managed to pay them off early. Just waiting for shipping which they said will be about mid May.

Aside form Pipos i still need to pay off my recent Yahoo Japan auction winnings with Celga. I really want to get my Pipos Pirate Baha which i won off Y!JA recently. I've been wanting him for so long.

One site that i wish would do layaway is Lati. They just released a new set of pirate themed dolls and i so would love to get a Miel & Ruki but at $420 a doll, i can't possibly afford 1 much less both. They really should consider offering a layaway option. I'm sure i would own more Lati in my collection if they did. So far i only have 3 and only 2 of them was ordered directly through their site. Lati usually takes upwards of 5 months to get their dolls out so why not let buyers do layaway? Ofcorse i can always wait and buy them off the secondary market but then they usually cost $100+ more then original price so that's not an option.

Wow, sounds like i better start listing more dolls on e-bay to clear up all my purchases :)

She is 'Strawberry Vanilla' Flora full set from FairyLand. I originally had a Flora (non-full set) but she was WS (white skin) i just couldn't seem to like the WS much because it's just too white. So i sold her hoping to get a NS (natural skin) version some day. I then found a NS open eyed face plate and brought that thinking i would just get her a body eventually. But then this great deal came up on DoA (Den of Angels) a BJD (ball jointed doll) forum i'm a member of. Anyway, i couldn't pass on getting a full set Flora. The full set has been long sold out from FairyLand. The seller even included the event Shiwoo Elf face plate :) which is a huge plus.

Now if only my LittleFee Leah & Piki will come home soon.

Takara McDonald Licca & Playset

Just received these today. I won them off e-bay for a really great price. I'm actually not a big fan of the vintage looking Licca dolls but this set was so cute.

I was actually willing to pay more then i did. This auction has been re-listed numerous times. I wanted it but was short on funds. I e-mailed the seller asking if i bidded on it can they give me 2 weeks to pay. They said they can't hold because they have to sell. So i just waited, and no one ever brought it. They eventually lowered the price and offered free ship so i jumped on it and i won :)

I have yet to open the play set. I will have to go do so now to make sure it's all complete. My son, Kris is already all over the box wanting me to open it. Maybe i should have waited a bit before taking it out of the ship box. I don't trust Kris with my toys, he throws stuff :)

I am so bad at this. I keep abandoning posting.

Anyway, i have also been too lazy to update my website for months now and thought i need to make a change. From now on, i'm gonna try blogging & posting pics on my Flickr rather then do the whole website thingy. I'm just way too tired and lazy. I have less then 7 weeks before my baby comes.
Other reason why i just don't feel like doing a website anymore includes the fact that I've slowed down on collecting fashion dolls and have mostly switched to collecting BJDs. Also, all my dolls are now moved to my new doll room which is a total clutter mess :) I don't feel like organizing so it's hard for me to re-take pics like i originally wanted.
